Privacy Policy

Last updated 27 June 2026

This policy explains what personal data Brigada collects, how we use it, and your rights under UK data protection law (UK GDPR). If you have questions, contact ahmed.rasooli@outlook.com.

What we collect

  • Account data — your name, email and the restaurant details you provide.
  • Business data you enter — revenue, costs, inventory, menu and similar operational figures.
  • Staff data you enter — names, roles, pay rates and (if you choose) contact numbers, so you can run rotas.
  • Documents you upload — invoices, receipts and till reports you scan.
  • Usage & technical data — basic logs needed to run and secure the service.

How we use it

To provide the service (track your numbers, read documents, produce forecasts and reports), to support you, to take payment, to keep the service secure, and to meet legal obligations. We process this data to perform our contract with you and for our legitimate interest in operating and improving Brigada.

AI processing

When you use AI features, the relevant content (for example a document you scan or a question you ask) is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to generate a response. We do not sell your data, and your business data is not used to train third-party models.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run Brigada, who act on our instructions: hosting and database (Vercel, Supabase), AI (Anthropic), email (Resend), payments (Stripe) and, if you enable it, messaging (360dialog/WhatsApp). We share only what each needs to do its job. We do not sell your personal data.

Where it's stored & for how long

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure and isolated so one business cannot see another’s. We keep it for as long as your account is active and as needed for legal and accounting purposes, then delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email us. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
